蓮子壺為紫砂圓器中的經典器型之一，此壺以小煤窯朱泥作胎，因泥料收縮比高和含漿量高的原因，粗看壺的表面是平整的，但細看側面卻有許多微細緊密自然收縮的流淌紋理，這就是所謂的"無皺不朱"。

The Lotus Seed Pot is one of the classic purple clay roundwares. This pot is made of Xiaomeiyao Zhuni. Due to the high shrinkage ratio and high pulp content of the clay, the surface of the pot looks flat at first glance, but if you look closely at the side, you will find many fine, tight and naturally contracted flowing textures. This is the so-called "no wrinkles, no red".
