此壺以半瓢為器身，流短而直，把成環形，蓋上設弧鈕，造型設計簡潔大方。整款壺由上而下依序變大，至壺底呈現最大接觸面，因此器型極為穩健，成為極為穩健的形態。壺蓋、蓋鈕與腹呈相似的壺型，壺柄略呈倒耳狀，壺身環飾蓮花花瓣，此壺點睛之處於壺底刻繪秋水踏青圖，典雅古樸，對於紫砂愛好者來說，此壺是收藏和把玩的佳品。
