壺式以竹節為主體，精心刻畫竹節清雅俊逸之特性。壺身為扁圓形，壺蓋為卡蓋式，口沿以三節竹枝環繞而成，於壺蓋之上點綴兩片新葉，一顆扁圓珠​​鈕穩居正中，盡顯穩重端莊之態，帶有纖細竹葉的的枝幹貼於壺體右側，枝梢新葉生出、貼飾於壺體，壺嘴為一向上昂然枝幹，與蒼勁的壺把相呼應，兩者相合，頗合新竹高於老竹枝的意境。

The pot is shaped with bamboo joints as the main body, and the elegant and graceful characteristics of the bamboo joints are carefully portrayed. The pot body is oval, the lid is a snap-on type, the rim is surrounded by three bamboo branches, two new leaves are dotted on the lid, and an oval bead button is firmly in the middle, showing a steady and dignified appearance. The branch with slender bamboo leaves is attached to the right side of the pot body, and new leaves grow on the branch tip and are attached to the pot body. The spout is an upward branch, which echoes the vigorous pot handle. The two are in harmony. It fits the idea that new bamboo is taller than old bamboo branches.
