梨形壺，始於元代，流行於明代，因形狀似梨而得名。其中最善長梨形壺的，當屬陸思亭與惠孟臣兩位名家。
梨形的特色為小巧的寶珠鈕、柔美的彎流、溫婉的圈把，在穩實的壺體，因此整個壺體猶如一尊彌勒端坐在那裡，堅不可搖。
