井欄壺周身皆由弧線構成，線條圓融有力，簡潔明快。壺身沉穩而不凝滯，器形簡約而不簡單，恰到好處，觀之韻味無窮。壺鈕柱狀顯出豐下斂，與壺身呈上下一大一小的對稱。嵌蓋深入壺體，不僅密封好，而且恰好與平肩處於同一平面上，毫無突兀之感。同時壺蓋之上一圈線與口蓋的子母線想平行，形成一大一小的有致的波紋狀，簡潔中顯柔美！
