原礦小煤窯朱泥產於黃龍山麓紅廟小煤礦1000米夾層處,是處於煤塊和砂岩之間的夾脂泥塊。泥層厚度僅在5公分到20公分之間。從50年代開始便有零星朱泥礦出產,不過產量不大。

小煤窯朱泥的燒結溫度較低,窯溫約1080度,但收縮比高達30%左右,非常容易扭曲、變形、破裂。在制壺中對於工藝師的技藝要求很高。

小煤窯朱泥是紫砂朱泥中的珍貴品種,因收縮比高和含漿量高的原因,高目數的礦土燒結之後會呈現皺紋,細看側面卻有許多微細緊密自然收縮的流淌紋理,這就是所謂的“無皺不朱”。

The original Xiaomeiyao Zhuni is produced in the interlayer of the Hongmiao small coal mine at the foot of Huanglong Mountain at 1,000 meters. It is a fat mud block between coal blocks and sandstone. The thickness of the mud layer is only between 5 cm and 20 cm. Since the 1950s, there have been sporadic Zhuni mines, but the output is not large.

The sintering temperature of Xiaomeiyao Zhuni is relatively low, the kiln temperature is about 1080 degrees, but the shrinkage ratio is as high as about 30%, which is very easy to twist, deform, and crack. The craftsmanship required in pot making is very high.

Xiaomeiyao Zhuni is a precious variety of purple clay. Due to its high shrinkage ratio and high pulp content, the high-mesh ore will show wrinkles after sintering. However, if you look closely at the side, you will see many fine, dense and naturally shrinking flowing lines. This is the so-called "no wrinkles, no Zhuni".

Maintain Teapot Tips

【開壺】:由於製作過程中的原因,新壺內可能殘留有加工產生的灰塵或者石英粉末等污染物,需要清除乾淨後才可供飲用。首先把茶壺放在水裏清洗乾淨,用開水多次沖淋。然後用較多的茶葉放在壺中並加入開水,靜置一段時間。最後把紫砂壺洗淨擦幹便可。

 【使用前先溫壺】:先注入40-50度的水,拿起壺,晃一下,使壺體均勻的受熱,這樣壺暖了,把水倒了,再注入沸水,再晃動一下,再倒掉。這一過程,是讓壺體均勻的受熱和可以順便清洗和消毒壺體。

 【選茶定壺】:每種茶對應的壺不同,選對壺才能泡好茶。一茶侍一壺。一壺侍一茶具有三大優點,一是不易串味,能增加茶香,並保持茶湯的醇厚度;二是長期泡一種茶,茶壺會更加細膩;三是能增加生活的儀式感。

 【定期清理】:茶渣殘留會形成茶垢,會影響沖泡出來的茶的口感。正確清洗與精心保養紫砂壺是一門學問,關乎其使用壽命、品茗體驗,乃至紫砂壺自身的人文價值。
